Citrus Butterfly

There are many butterflies in the garden.
This is a citrus butterfly which has been very accommodative in allowing its photos to be taken from various angles.
It takes several weeks for an egg to eventually become a butterfly but  it survives only about 5 days in this beautiful state.

  2. That first one is like right out of a sci fi movie....huge butterfly collides head on in a duel of wits!!

    Incredible.

My Critter blog this week is a photo of a laughing gull, AND I added a touching dog video -1.5 minutes long- of a dog that was blown away in a tornado only to CRAWL home 2 weeks later. It's a must see...the stamina and determination of animals.

    Have a great weekend.
